Through the ongoing commitment of members at First Congregational Church, a ministry to feed the hungry is touching lives. For over 10 years members begin meeting in the spring on a weekly basis to to till, plant, cultivate and then start a fall harvest of a large variety of produce. Most of it is given to the communities in Dodge County through the SEMCAC food pantry based in Kasson.

Each year over a ton of groceries are harvested. These include three varieties of onion, two types of potatoes, cabbage, lettuce, brocolli, bell peppers to name just a few.
